LOWeR MANHATTAn TOur - 3 HOURS

 

 

When it comes to historical neighborhoods in New York they don’t get much more older than Lower Manhattan. This three hour tour takes you through the Financial District where we’ll learn about some of it’s most famous landmarks. We’ll see Alexander Hamilton’s grave site, talk about the actual wall of Wall Street, and walk the oldest streets of Manhattan dating back to the very beginnings of New York City.

In addition to seeing it’s more well-known attractions we’ll also point some more hidden stuff including secret ciphers on tombstones, blast marks from 1920s terrorism and where to find fragments of George Washington’s teeth. You’ll learn where Donald Trump’s grandfather first set foot on American soil, how a statue changed its nationality, and what a simple black fence has to do with the turmoil of the Revolutionary War.

MIDTOWN Tour -

Midtown is the most "City" part of New York City. Our Grand Central and Midtown walk takes you through the very heart of it and actually inside Grand Central as well! This route includes some of the most famous architecture in the world, long views of the famous grid plan of Manhttan, and the stories of some of the wealthiest New Yorkers that ever lived. Also just to balance it out we'll see one of the least loved buildings in the neighborhood!

During the tour we will learn about feuding architects, hidden train platforms under Park Avenue, and the biggest mistake made in Grand Central. You'll see people lining up to whisper in corners, discover hidden Times Square audio art pieces, and the learn about the weirdest letter opener owned by the New York Public Library.

  On this tour we take you through two of Brooklyn's most famous neighborhoods then across an engineering marvels of the 19th Century; the Brooklyn Bridge.

  We startswith the residential buildings of Brooklyn Heights (New York's first commuter suburb AND the first neighborhood to be made a historic district) to show you a different more relaxed side of the city
